Testimonials
On behalf of all of us at SEMA Show Management, I thank CSS very much for the fantastic service we received during the recent SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Having worked with a third party previously who was able to pull from various temporary agencies and provide the large amount of labor needed to produce our show, we were very concerned that we would not have coverage. This proved to be no worry at all, as all of CSS’ associates consistently arrived, on time and ready to work.
Another area we asked CSS to tackle was our international translation areas. They not only filled these areas with the best people from the past, but brought us new favorites as well. Time after time, we heard compliments from the association and the exhibitors and attendees about their staff’s courtesy, attention-to-detail, and knowledge.
Last, but not least, was the relationship we developed with our CSS managers. From the beginning of the process, all the way through the daily “checking-in”, they listened to our needs, identified the hot buttons and gave great suggestions. We appreciated them keeping us informed along the way and providing solid advice.
The SEMA show is our 4th largest show in the US and is extremely complicated. The CSS team managed to make it look seamless and made us heroes. I look forward to working with them in the future.

We are exceptionally happy with every single person who assisted with our event. As promised, Convention Staffing Solutions met and exceeded every expectation set by ICBA. Each of their personnel went above and beyond, from arriving early with a bright and cheery smile, to actively inquiring and initiating change to help us improve our event. Not only is the ICBA staff pleased, but we have also received numerous compliments from our attendees. We could not have asked for a stronger team.
Thank you for your guidance and perseverance in helping us pull this event together. We wish CSS was located all throughout the country and will most definitely use CSS again when ICBA returns to Vegas in the upcoming years.

Susan, it was great meeting you at the SEMA show last week. As you may recall, I made it a point to locate you to “report” on an employee of CSS. While I am certain that in your position, you receive your share of complaints from those who may take exception to the people who have to enforce the rules when dealing with 125,000 visitors, I am not one of them.
I travel extensively and attend a number of tradeshows. I observe people in the service industry with the practiced eye of a journalist and business owner.
Every so often, I run into people I consider to be exceptional; people who, because a visitor encounters them, leave an impression on that visitor about the city the person of service represents. I met one such person on my recent trip to Las Vegas named Don. I’d like to thank Don for returning my cell phone after I carelessly left it at a bus stop.
Don is one of the rare people who understands that his job is not simply herding conventioneers on and off of buses. Don understands at some innate level that he is an “ambassador” of the City of Las Vegas. He understands that the impression he leaves on visitors is every bit as important as the fountains, volcano and monorail. People like Don are tangible proof that visitors are appreciated, not just entertained.
After our encounter, I had the chance to observe him handling others with needs or questions. What he did for me was not exceptional for Don. He was “just doing his job.”
My experience with Don made me start looking for CSS badges around the venue. I came to realize that, while Don is an exceptional representative of the City of Las Vegas, he is not alone. Whatever CSS does to create this sense of awareness of the importance of visitor interface is working at an exceptional level.
Don is an asset to Les Vegas and CSS. And, he has a lot of company working at CSS as well. Thank you!
